Service Opportunity through Congressman Bacon's Staff To Publications / Articles - Service Opportunity through Congressman Bacon's Staff

We know our homeschool families are missing Homeschool Teen Serve and TeenPact, so we're bringing you information about a few other service opportunities during this time period.

Congressman Bacon's staff extends the following service opportunities to students and families:

We would love to try and assist in enhancing the education and involvement of your students. Right now, we have our younger volunteers serving with us in the community at food banks to get meals to those with the greatest needs. It has been hugely rewarding for them and the organizations they have helped, not to mention those being blessed by them.

We have paused many of our efforts we normally do on the campaign, but there are still some phone calls being made regarding checking with local citizens about their status regarding voter registration, early ballot/voting registration, and whether they have filled out and mailed/submitted an absentee ballot for the upcoming primary election on May 12th.

If any of the above appeals to you or your students, we would be happy to try and line up some opportunities for them to serve. I have included Kelsey McDonald, who was also a home school student, but now works for our team and in my office. She is managing our service projects in the community and could help facilitate scheduling any who want to participate.
