Scholarship Opportunities To Publications / Articles - Scholarship Opportunities

Dear Home School Contacts,

The Lincoln Community Foundation kindly requests that you share the following information with potential scholarship candidates. Below is a scholarship opportunity I wish to share with you in which artistic seniors (including home-schooled seniors) are eligible. Please see attached guidelines for additional information.

  • The PINC Scholarship was created to provide substantial assistance for a talented student (senior or former graduate, also homeschooled) involved in any of the Arts. It is the donor's hope that this award will be received by someone who has been directly affected by poverty who could not otherwise attend college but who would benefit from specialized study in their chosen art or music field.

Students may find information about our scholarships by visiting the Lincoln Community Foundation website and navigating to the scholarship section or by using this link: https://lcf.academicworks.com/

Using the link above, students will click Sign Up and create an account by supplying their e-mail address as their username and a password. Next, they receive an e-mail asking them to confirm their account. When they do this, they have access to current scholarship information and the online application form.

NOTE: APPLICANTS MUST FIRST COMPLETE AND SUBMIT THEIR GENERAL APPLICATION FORM, THEN THEY WILL SEE ADDITIONAL SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES ON THEIR “RECOMMENDED OPPORTUNITIES” TAB IN THEIR ACCOUNT. They must click on the specific scholarship opportunity (PINC Scholarship) “Apply-To” button to answer additional questions, request references, or upload documents.

A transcript and first page of the FAFSA report with their EFC (Expected Family Contribution) are required for all applications. Based on information provided in the general application, they may be automatically applied to Scholarships for which they are fully eligible. Students will see their application portfolio on their account's “My Opportunities” Tab. The application deadline for Scholarships is March 15, 2020.

If you have any questions regarding our website or about our scholarships in general, please do not hesitate to contact me at [email protected] or (402) 474-2345.

Thank you for your assistance in sharing this information with eligible students!
