Nebraska Homeschool is forwarding this message to the homeschool community:

Here is scholarship information I would like you to share with your artistic seniors. See attached Guidelines. Traditionally, this particular opportunity does not receive a large pool of applicants, so please encourage your talented students to apply! Rob McMaster

The Lincoln Community Foundation is pleased to announce that applications are open for the 2019 PINC Scholarship!

The PINC Scholarship was created to provide substantial assistance for a talented student (senior or former graduate or homeschooled), involved any of several fields in the Arts. It is the donor's hope that this award will be received by someone who has been directly affected by poverty who could not otherwise attend college but who would benefit from specialized study in their chosen art or music field.

Students will find information about our scholarships by using this link: http://www.lcf.org/impacting-community/student-scholarships

Using the link above, students will click Sign Up and create an account by supplying their e-mail address as their username and a password. Next, they receive an e-mail asking them to confirm their account. When they do this, they have access to current scholarship information and the online application form.

NOTE: APPLICANTS WILL NOT SEE THE PINC SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION QUESTIONS UNTIL AFTER THEY HAVE SUBMITTED THE GENERAL AND CONDITIONAL APPLICATION. IT WILL THEN BE FOUND ON THEIR “RECOMMENDED OPPORTUNITIES” TAB IN THEIR ACCOUNT. They must click on the PINC “APPLY-To” button to answer additional questions, request references, or upload documents.

A transcript and first page of the FAFSA report with their EFC (Expected Family Contribution) are required for all applications. Based on information provided in the application, when students complete and submit the general and conditional forms, they may be automatically applied to Scholarships for which they are fully eligible. After submitting the application form, students will see their application portfolio’s on their account's “My Opportunities” Tab.

The application deadline for Scholarships is March 15th, 2019.

If you have any questions regarding our website or about our scholarships in general, please do not hesitate to contact me at [email protected] or (402) 474-2345.

Thank you for your assistance in sharing this information with your students!
