A wonderful opportunity for Nebraska Homeschool to collaborate with our community!  We are sharing this first to Nebraska Homeschool members, then to others ~ we think there will be a good response and space is limited.

To whom it may concern,

I am the keyboard area coordinator at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. This semester we are offering a piano pedagogy class in which four students are enrolled. Three of the students are undergraduates, and another student is a masters student. As part of this class, the university students are expected to teach some group piano classes as well as individual lessons. All of these classes and lessons are supervised by me, as it is part of the grade for the university students.

We are looking for four students ranging in age from 7 to 9 years old who have never taken piano before. All materials will soon be supplied to the students, and lessons will be taught at the School of Music at the UNO campus. The class begins at 5 PM on Thursdays. We would start approximately the first week of March.

It is my hope that there are some homeschool students who would be interested in this opportunity. Could you advise me as to whether this possible collaboration might happen? Thank you for your time.
