Posted 1/18/19

Hello Homeschool Community....

I am writing on behalf of local author Teela Mickles and Compassion In Action to share an opportunity to celebrate and honor the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday coming up on Monday, January 21, 2019.

The event is the MLK Day Book Reading at The Bookworm by local author Teela A. Mickles.

The event is FREE and the details are listed below.

Please share with the faculty, staff, students and friends you think might be interested.

Every year, many of us wonder what is an appropriate way to observe this national holiday and honor the legacy of Dr. King. This year, through her book, “What If?”Omaha native Teela Mickles will honor Dr. King by reading a section of her book and contemplating a brighter future for society at large.
