The Youth Energy Leadership Camp is available to children whose age would fall into grades 9, 10 and 11. The camp focuses on building leadership skills while introducing attendees to STEM-related careers within the electric utility industry. Dawson PPD sponsors up to three children who live within our service territory boundaries. Many other rural electric utilities in Nebraska participate in the program – I would advise those who do not live in Dawson PPD’s service territory to contact their local electric utility provider for availability.
